* At 212 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Upper Marlboro to 7 miles northwest of Hallowing Point, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
* Locations impacted include... Bowie, Annapolis, Mayo, Shady Side, Chesapeake Beach, Deale, Naval Academy, Prince Frederick, Upper Marlboro, Severn River, South River, Breezy Point, Rhode River, Parole, Kettering, Mitchellville, Rosaryville, Marlton, Woodmore and Dunkirk.
