Suspect(s):
On Thursday, April 18th, the Pomona Police Department Major Crimes Task served a search warrant at 3169 N. Garey Av. Through gathered intelligence and an investigation, a warrant was obtained to address an illegal gambling casino operating at this location where several gang members congregated.
As officers executed the search warrant, they encountered 30 people at the business. Once everyone was safely detained, officers went inside the business and located an active casino equipped with various gaming devices. Over five thousand dollars were recovered from the gaming devices.
This investigation is still on going and anyone with information is encouraged to contact “Crime Stoppers.” The Pomona Police Department is dedicated to addressing quality of life issues.
