The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Troup County in west central Georgia... Western Harris County in west central Georgia...
* Until 1130 AM EDT.
* At 533 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hamilton, Pine Mountain, Goat Rock Lake, Mountain Hill, Mountville, Big Springs, Jones Crossroads, Bartletts Ferry Dam, Baughs Crossroads, Whitesville-Pine Lake and Lake Harding. Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the warned area.
* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRIS, GA ... TROUP, GA
