FLOOD WARNING- ST JOHNSBURY
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch beginning this evening and continuing through Sunday morning. Residents in flood prone areas should remain alert of conditions and be prepared to evacuate if necessary, especially along the Passumpsic River in St Johnsbury Center. Flood waters are anticipated to peak late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
We anticipate that many roads will be closed due to flooding. Please obey road closure signs and do not drive or walk through flood waters. If you need emergency services call 911. To report damages to St Johnsbury Town Roads please call 751-9107.
