Update: Streets are now closed in the area of Summitt St, W. Conant, W. Carroll St. 
Update:
Portage Department of Public Works is currently building a berm on Summit Street in attempt to reduce the effects of the flooding from the Wisconsin River. At this time W. Carroll St., W. Prospect St., Summit Street, and W. Corner St. are closed near the boat landing. We will continue monitoring 49 West Cook St. as well and the pumps will be turned on when necessary. Again please avoid the area for safety. Thank you for your understanding.
