The river levels remain around 20ft. At approximately 5:00pm officials in the City of Portage were notified that the berm on Summit St had partially breached. Nearby residents quickly responded and placed sandbags to stop the flow of water at the end of the berm until first responders and the Department of Public Works came in and reinforced the weak areas. Officials will continue to monitor this area and other areas of concern.
