Synopsis: A 22 year old male was driving a 2005 Chrysler 300 southbound on the west frontage road of 2300 54th Street. The frontage road ends in a cul-de-sac. The male drove over the curb, struck 2 palm tree stumps and yard fencing. The vehicle rolled over twice and came to a rest on its wheels in the southbound lanes of 54th Street. The driver's front passenger, a 22 year old male, sustained a crushed right hand, amputated 3 fingers and major brain bleed and swelling. The driver sustained a pelvic fracture and was evaluated and charged with felony DUI. Traffic Division responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation.

Synopsis: A 46 year old female was riding a motorized scooter northbound along 4100 Pacific Highway. She looked down at her phone's GPS map and lost control of the scooter and overturned. She sustained a fractured left femur requiring extensive surgery. No DUI is suspected. Traffic Division responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation.
