Press Release: Commercial Burglary Suspects Arrested

SUSPECT #2: Mark Anthony Neff, 53-year-old Sunnyvale resident
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 1995, Black Chevy, Silverado, Pick-up Truck

On April 22, 2019, at approximately 1:01 A.M., a private security guard called the Milpitas Police Department to report that a male suspect had broken into a construction trailer parked to the rear of Big Al’s and then fled on foot. Officers arrived on scene within two minutes and found two suspects, later identified as being Michael Thomas Jones and Mark Anthony Neff, hiding inside a black Chevy pick-up truck parked across the street from the business. Officers searched the truck and found approximately $3000 dollars’ worth of tools that were stolen from the trailer. Jones was also in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine.

Jones is on Santa Clara County Probation for grand theft, and he had a no bail felony warrant for probation violation. Neff is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) Probation in Santa Clara County for burglary. Jones was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, and for the felony warrant. Neff was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property.
