Full Notification

Northbrook's boil order remains in effect until the Village receives the results of water samples verifying the water quality. Samples were collected throughout the Village yesterday and the results of those samples will be received this evening.  When the boil order is lifted, notifications will be provided via the Village website, Northbrook Notify, and social media accounts.

Residents and businesses in Northbrook should not use water for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, washing hands, or brushing teeth without boiling the water for 5 minutes. Residents and businesses may instead use bottled water for these tasks. The water is safe to wash clothes in or bathe in so long as care is taken not to ingest the water. Water for fire protection is available and not impacted by the boil order.
