On Saturday, May 11, 2019, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s San Dimas station will host an Open House!  This family-oriented fun-filled event will take place at the San Dimas Sheriff’s station between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is inviting members of the community to visit the local Sheriff’s station to provide an up-close look at the variety of programs offered and used by your law enforcement agency. This is also a great opportunity to meet the deputies that patrol the jurisdiction and tour the station facility.

The Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau (SWAT), K-9, Arson/Explosives (bomb squad), Transportation (bus), Mounted Posse, Station Explorers, Volunteers, and Mountain Search and Rescue will be on hand with displays and demonstrations. The City of San Dimas Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) will also be present. The Los Angeles County Fire Department will simultaneously co-host the open house at the fire station facility next door!  Activities include a demonstration of how to properly conduct CPR.

There will be vendor booths featuring LASD recruitment, City of San Dimas Parks and Recreation, and Public Works.  This is also an opportunity to meet the new San Dimas City Manager.

Remember, this is a family event and everyone is welcome to visit San Dimas Sheriff’s Station! Food and drinks will be provided by Target of San Dimas. Please join them on Saturday, May 11th, 2019.
