Flood Warning until 12:45PM 
At 917 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated an area of very heavy rainfall fell across the warned area overnight. Water is slowly receding, however, additional shower and thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon that could aggravate or renew flooding. Some locations that are experiencing flooding include... Taylor, Romulus, Flat Rock, Downtown Detroit, Canton, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Trenton, Grosse Ile, Belleville, Greenfield Village, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Lincoln Park, Southgate, Allen Park, Garden City, Inkster, Wayne and Woodhaven.

Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
