Outdoor Warning Siren Test Today 12 Noon - Last Nixle Message by EMA
The Huntsville - Madison County EMA will be conducting a test of the Outdoor Warning Siren system today at 12:00 noon. This will only be a regular monthly test and no emergency exists. The siren system is designed for outdoor warning. We recommend a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for use inside your home as well as cellular apps to alert you. Any one method can fail! Having more than one method increases the chances that you will receive a weather warning in time to act.
Instructions:
Please review your severe weather safety plan including where you would shelter if a warning were to be issued. This should be the last NIXLE message from Huntsville Madison County EMA.
