Flash Flood Watch until 07:00PM Thursday

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois, southeast Illinois, and west central Illinois, including the following areas, in central Illinois, Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon, Mason, McLean, Menard, Piatt, Shelby, Tazewell, and Woodford. In east central Illinois, Champaign, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, and Moultrie. In southeast Illinois, Clay, Effingham, and Jasper. In west central Illinois, Cass, Morgan, and Scott.

* Through Thursday evening

* Additional rainfall tonight through Thursday will once again cause flooding issues around the Midwest. Heavy rainfall will spread across the region tonight from northwest to southeast, as a boundary continues to linger throughout central Illinois.

* Some rural roadways remain closed due to high water, and will remain closed over the next day or two. Flash Flooding will be possible again tonight through Thursday night, as up to an additional inch of rain will be possible.
