The Highland Park Street Fair and 5k Run is this Sunday! Hope everyone comes out for a great day in the Borough!
On Sunday, May 5th the Annual Highland Park Street Fair will take place. Raritan Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 2nd through 5th Avenues from approximately 9am to 6pm. Expect heavy traffic and possible delays due to detours which will direct traffic to alternate routes.
Special attention to North side residents. A 5k race scheduled to begin at 9am will travel through several streets on the North side. If you are a resident of any of the following streets, it is recommended that you move any parked vehicles from the street and refrain from driving until runners are clear of the course.
North 5th Avenue between Abbott Street and Raritan Avenue
Walter Avenue
Lincoln Avenue between Walter Avenue and Lawrence Avenue
Lawrence Avenue between Lincoln Ave and North 2nd Avenue
North 2nd Avenue between Lawrence Avenue and Cleveland Avenue
Madison Avenue between Cleveland Avenue and No 4th Avenue
No 4th Avenue between Madison Avenue and Lincoln Avenue
So Park between No 5th and No 8th
No 8th between So Park and Abbott
Abbott between No 8th and No 5th
