Synopsis: A 21 year old male was driving his 2003 BMW SUV eastbound 200 Sea World Drive. The driver failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway and struck the raised center median, losing control of the vehicle and crossing to the south roadway edge. The SUV continued and struck a street lamp and a tree on the right shoulder. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating.
