Your neighbors and our community needs your help with a very important issue. Residents in our area no different than other rural areas have struggled with adequate internet services for a very long time. Some have it currently while others cannot even get a provider. Many who do have service are limited to one provider such as ATT, have slow speeds or pay really high bills. There is a link to a survey posted below that is being used to show others of the need. Even if you currently have internet please complete the survey and if possible help a couple others complete it. Ironically the problem being looked at is being evaluated through the use of internet, go figure. Residents can enter others information for them. There’s no personal information requested only address to show location needs. When funds become available to promote providers to improve or extend services this survey will play a part in where they focus. Again, please take a couple minutes and enter it. Thank you to those who have and please consider helping a friend or neighbor get their situation documented. If anyone does not have access to internet feel free to come by Broad River Fire Department main Station and we will assist you getting it submitted. We are running out of time.
