Synopsis: A 69 year old male and his 72 year old female passenger were traveling eastbound on 3700 Meade Ave. on a Moped. An older model black Mercedes Benz SUV driven by a female, was traveling northbound on 4300 38th St. The SUV failed to yield the right of way to the Moped and they collided. The SUV fled the scene. The female passenger was transported to a local hospital and treated for a fractured femur. SDPD Traffic investgators responded to the scene and will be handling.
