Synopsis: Victim #1, a 24 year old male and his female companion drove to the area of 4900 Dafter Place to pick up a friend, who was victim #2. The suspect, a 19 year old female and victim #2 were waiting for them. Victim #2 exited the suspect's vehicle and got into the rear seat of the vehicle driven by victim #1's female companion. The suspect made a U-turn and pulled along side the victims. The suspect shot five times into the victim's vehicle, hitting victim #1 in the shoulder and victim #2 in the left temple. The suspect drove away and crashed at 4900 Deaton Drive. She fled from the vehicle and hid the weapon in some bushes. She then returned back to her vehicle where she was taken into custody. The weapon was recovered. The female companion drove both victims to a local hospital. The injuries are non life threatening. Southeastern Division detectives are investigating the shooting.
