The City of Gardena- Human Services Department is kicking off May by hosting the first annual Mental Health Awareness & Community Resource Fair- Thursday May 16th from 1PM- 4PM at the City Hall Lawn.

Over 20 agencies are attending to provided education, resources, and eliminate the stigma of mental illness. Some of our local hospitals will be present such as Providence Little Company of Mary, Torrance Memorial and Charles Drew will be doing free rapid HIV testing. The Recreation, Human Services (Child Care/Senior Bureau), and Gardena Police Department will have tables providing resources and event flyers.

So come by and celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month! We will have plenty to share and give-away!
