Traffic investigators from the Compton Sheriff’s Station are investigating the circumstances of a fatal hit and run traffic collision. The collision occurred on Monday, May, 06, 2019 at approximately 8:50 P.M., at the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Bullis Road, in the City of Compton.
Detectives have learned the female victim was driving eastbound Alondra Boulevard in a black Nissan Altima when her vehicle was struck by a blue Mitsubishi Montero (photos attached) which was traveling Southbound on Bullis Road. The driver fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim, female Hispanic in her early 20’s and resident of Compton, was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are asking that anyone who may have witnessed this collision or knows the suspect involved, please contact the Traffic Investigator, Detective Wilson at Compton Sheriff Station 310-605-6500.
