* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Tom Green County in west central Texas... Southeastern Irion County in west central Texas...
* Until 745 AM CDT.
* At 550 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain along highway 67 from Mertzon to San Angelo. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. One to Two inches has fallen and another 2 inches is likely. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Angelo, Mertzon, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy, Tankersley, Sherwood and Us-67 Near The Irion- Tom Green County Line. This includes the following low water crossings ... Howard and Webster... Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant... Southwest Blvd and Loop 306... College Hills and Millbrook... Parkwood and Lindenwood... Sul Ross At Red Arroyo Crossing... Huntington and Sunset... Paseo De Vaca and Washington... South Irving and Avenue R and South Hill and Avenue P. Do not drive through these low water crossings or any other low water crossing with water flowing across the roadway.
