...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 AM MDT FRIDAY...

* Where...Northwest San Juan Mountains-Southwest San Juan Mountains- Including the cities of Telluride, Ouray, Lake City, Silverton, Rico, and Hesperus issued at 349 AM MDT Wed May 8 2019

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20
inches with the heaviest snowfall expected above 9,000 ft. The most significant impacts are expected during the overnight hours tonight and again Thursday night.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan
Mountains.

* WHEN...From this afternoon through late Thursday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning
and evening commutes. A detailed map of the snowfall can be
