Advisory

Deputies locate 2 loaded firearms, ammunition, paraphernalia consistent with sales of narcotics during a traffic stop

DATE/ TIME: Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 4:23pm

INCIDENT: Transportation of a controlled substance/ Felon in possession of a Firearm/Possession of a controlled substance while armed/Possession of a controlled substance for sales

LOCATION: Palmdale Road/ Verbena, in Adelanto

SUSPECTS: Sierra Gabrielle Forst, 20 years-old, transient
David Olivo, 28 years-old, of Victorville
Jose Quintero, 35 years-old, of Adelanto

SUMMARY:

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at approximately 4:23 pm, Deputies J. Mora and K. Nguyen stopped a gray 2006 Toyota Corolla for California Vehicle Code violations.

The driver of the vehicle, David Olivo, was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS). Two passengers, Sierra Gabrielle Forst and Jose Quintero, were in possession of methamphetamine. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located two loaded firearms, ammunition, paraphernalia consistent with sales of narcotics, and 1.2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine. Quintero and Olivo are both convicted felons prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition and are both documented gang members.

Also located during the search of the vehicle were hundreds of washed and altered personal checks and shaved vehicle keys. Many of the checks originated out of the Spring Valley Lake Community in Victorville. All three suspects were booked at High Desert Detention Center. Forst and Quintero are currently being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail each. Olivo is being held without bail on a probation hold.
