Deputies conduct Sex Offender Compliance Checks

SUSPECT: Anthony Avina, 24-year-old resident of Twin Peaks
SUMMARY:
On Friday, May 3, 2019, deputies and detectives assigned to the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station conducted P.C. 290 Sex Offender Compliance checks throughout all mountain communities within the jurisdiction of the Twin Peaks Station. During the operation, Anthony Avina was found to be out of compliance and subsequently arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center. An arrest warrant was prepared for another registrant whose current whereabouts are unknown.
