CHULA VISTA CONDUCTING ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN SURVEY
To help guide future pedestrian and bicycle improvements in the City, Chula Vista is conducting an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) survey. Results of the survey will help finalize the Plan as well as other successful efforts such as the Pedestrian Connectivity Plan and the Bikeway Master Plan.
Public participation is an important part of the process for development of the ATP. Currently, Chula Vista residents and businesses are asked to participate in a comprehensive survey which is available in English and Spanish at http://bit.ly/ChulaVista-ATP. Questions about walking, bicycling and public transportation are included with an interactive map. The deadline to respond is June 30, 2019.
An outreach event is scheduled at the Otay Ranch Farmers Market on May 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visit the project website at https://www.chulavistaca.gov/departments/engineering/active-transportation-plan to learn more about the ATP and future outreach events.
The final Active Transportation Plan is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
