Following Thursday night’s severe weather, there is a significant amount of green waste (tree branches, shrubs and bushes) that was created. In addition, a number of fences have been knocked down and damaged. Due to the forecast for continued rain this weekend, the City will commence the collection of the green waste and waste related to Thursday night's storm, on Monday. Solid waste crews will be running overtime to keep up the widespread damage. It is necessary to separate your trash piles: green waste should be separated from all other waste. Wooden fences are not considered green waste since it is treated lumber.
