The NWS has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH from 5/18 6:31 p.m. to 5/19/19 12:00 a.m. #stlwx 
Thunderstorms are expected areawide. The greatest threat for severe
storms will be near and west of the Mississippi River. Damaging winds
will be the primary threat, but large hail and an isolated tornado
are also possible. Locally heavy rainfall is also a concern with
these storms.
