Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for Oceanview Beach Park
and the Jekyll Island Solar Field
The community is invited to join the Jekyll Island Authority for the ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new Oceanview Beach Park and the Jekyll Island Solar Field on Tuesday, May 21, following the JIA Board Meeting.
The Oceanview Beach Park ribbon cutting will take place first at approximately 11:45 a.m. The new beach park is located between the Holiday Inn Resort and the beach pavilion on Beachview Dr. N.
Following the Oceanview Beach Park ribbon cutting, the Jekyll Island Solar Field ribbon cutting will take place approximately at 12:15 p.m. The solar field is located on the unmarked road off of Old Plantation Road, between Magee Ave. and Bond Ave. Please be advised the solar field is located on an unpaved road with very limited parking. Carpooling is highly recommended.
