INCIDENT: Residential Burglary/Grand Theft Firearm
LOCATION: Live Oak/Country Lane, Fontana

SUSPECTS: Edward Virgen, age 18 of Alta Dena; 3 Male Juveniles, all age 17 and residents of Pasadena
SUMMARY:
On May 6, 2019, three Hispanic male juveniles targeted several residences in the unincorporated area of Fontana. The suspects observed a resident drive away from their house and knocked on the front door to ensure no one was home. The suspects forcefully entered the victim’s house. While inside, the suspects stole miscellaneous items, including a loaded firearm.
Shortly after the incident, investigators from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station, Criminal Investigations Division initiated their investigation. As a result of the investigation, several search and arrest warrants were executed in Fontana, Bloomington, Pasadena, and Alta Dena.
On Friday, May 17, investigators concluded their investigation with the execution of a final search warrant in the City of Alta Dena. During the execution of this search warrant, Sheriff’s investigators located a stolen police taser, baton, and the reported stolen firearm, which included three loaded magazines.
Arrested in this case were three Hispanic male juveniles and Edward Virgen. The juveniles were booked into San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall on charges of Residential Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary and Grand Theft of a Firearm. Virgen was booked into the West Valley Detention Center on Possession of Stolen Property.
