Chambers Street overnight closure 
PSE&G needs to complete emergency underground repairs on Chambers Street which will require the street to be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 8pm on Tuesday, May 21st and Thursday, May 23rd (weather permitting).
The street will be closed at Nassau Street and at Hulfish Street, police officers will be providing traffic control. Pedestrians will be allowed on the sidewalks, please follow instructions of PSE&G personnel in the work area.
Chambers Street garage patrons:
Those exiting the garage onto Chambers Street will be forced to turn right out of the garage and head north (towards Hulfish Street)
Those wishing to access the garage should do so via the Chambers/Hulfish intersection and advise the police officers stationed there they intend to park in the garage. Access to the Chambers Street garage will be maintained as long as it is safe to do so.
The work is expected to take 2 nights to complete and the street re-opened to two-way traffic at 6 am daily.
