According to the calendars, it is officially SPRING, though Mother Nature may not be so sure. Spring often brings the fun adventures such as fishing, camping and spring cleaning! With that we want to take a moment to re-familiarize you with the Sheboygan City Ordinance for overnight parking of trailers, campers, boats and RVs on city streets, Ordinance #118-137. “No trailer or boat may be parked on a street within the city between the hours of 11pm-5am.” This ordinance is directed at trailers that are not connected to a legally registered and operable vehicle. The ordinance does allow for waivers which can be granted by contacting the Sheboygan Police Department prior to 11pm on the date you park the trailer, boat, camper or RV on a city street. DPW can also issue permits for construction trailers and dumpsters. Happy Spring!
