Severe thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening. Damaging
wind is the primary threat, but isolated tornadoes are also possible.
A flash flood watch is in effect until midnight tonight. Locally
heavy rain from last night combined with expected heavy rain from
thunderstorms this afternoon and evening may produce dangerous flash
flooding.
Major river flooding is ongoing along portions of the Illinois
River.
