Attempted burglary of residence - 100 block of Walters lane- actor fled on foot and was not apprehended. 
On Thursday, May 23 at approximately 1:20am, the JHPD responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 100 block of Walter’s Lane. When the first JHPD officer arrived, an actor dressed in dark clothing was observed fleeing the area and running into the woods. The officer gave chase but lost contact with the actor. An initial search of the wooded area was conducted and some discarded clothing was discovered. Several police departments assisted in a more detailed search, to include with canines and a drone. After several hours of searching, and no signs of the subject, the search was called off. The actor did not make entry into the residence. Police believe this residence may have been targeted.
