DETAILS:  Ptl. Crawford initiated a stop on a red Nissan SUV for erratic driving which included sudden braking, failing to stay within its lane of travel, and unsafe lane changes. During the stop, John Phillips-Butts was determined to be DWI. He was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Sgt. Magistro initiated a stop on a black Toyota SUV for aggressive driving which included an unsafe lane change which caused another vehicle to brake to avoid a collision. During the stop, Timothy Korwin was determined to be DWI. Korwin was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Patrol units were detailed to Oak Lane for a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the street.  Ptl. Pollini located a red Ford pickup truck that fit the description and investigated further. During the investigation, Finn Kaiser was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, a metal grinder, and rolling papers. Kaiser was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Ptl. Robles initiated a stop on a silver Lexus sedan for failing to keep right (driving in the left lane). During the stop, Balvin Bailey was found to be in possession of just under 50 grams of marijuana and a portable digital scale. Bailey was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

During the stop, Christopher Mohr was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Mohr was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Sgt. Loretucci was detailed to the Wegmans market for a shoplifting in progress. Prior to his arrival, three shoplifting suspects had fled the store in a silver Chrysler sedan. Investigation determined the following: The three suspects selected numerous skin care products, put them into the shopping cart they were using, and then into plastic shopping bags. They then left the store without paying for any of the items when Asset Protection confronted them. They fled from the scene leaving the merchandise behind. A check of the registration for the vehicle the suspects fled the scene with revealed that the registered owner, Shalonda Anderson was one of the shoplifters. She was later charged with shoplifting and has a pending date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS:  Sgt. Brodowski investigated a theft from a motor vehicle at the Mercer County Park where the following occurred:  The victim parked his car in the Tennis Center parking lot and left it unlocked. While it was parked, someone entered his vehicle and stole his wallet from inside. Inside his wallet was a debit card which someone attempted to use to purchase over $600.00 in gift cards from CVS in West Windsor. The suspect was described as a White male with a beard, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, and approximately 6’ 00” tall with a thin build.

DETAILS:  Sgt. Brodowski investigated a burglary to a motor vehicle where the following occurred: The victim parked and locked her car at the Community Park near the playground. While she was away from her car, someone smashed her driver side front window and stole her purse which had been on the front passenger side floorboard. At least one of her credit cards had already been used to make purchases at Walgreens stores in Princeton and Franklin Park.

DETAILS:  During an investigation at the Mercer County Community College, Isom Crisp would not provide his real name or identification to Campus Security. Ptl. Montgomery was detailed to the College and was able to properly identity Crisp, and he was found to be a “Wanted” person out of Delaware County, PA. Crisp was processed at WWPD Headquarters and later transported to the Mercer County Correction Center to await extradition to Pennsylvania.

LOCATION OCCURRED:  Barnes & Noble, 3535 U.S. Route 1
 
OFFICER:  Ptl. D. Fiore #5105        
 
DETAILS:  Ptl. Fiore investigated the theft of a wallet from Barnes and Noble where the following occurred: The 70 year old victim was seated at the Starbucks café area of the store with her jacket hanging over the back of her chair. In her jacket pocket was her wallet. At around 5:00 pm she put her jacket back on. While still at the café, she learned that her credit cards had been used to make over $6,000.00 worth of purchases at Macy’s and Nordstrom’s located in the Menlo Park Mall in Edison, NJ, and that is when she realized her wallet had been stolen.
