GTPD Community Bulletin: Take 25 Minutes on National Missing Children's Day

Today, May 25th is National Missing Children’s Day. A parent’s worst nightmare is to find out their child has been abducted! It is important for parents, communities, and law enforcement to take an active role in showing children how to be safe.

The Gloucester Township Police Department continues to take a lead role in childhood safety.  Officers are sent to courses at the National Centers for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Pictured is Captain A. Minosse, who just attended the prestigious Missing & Exploited Children Seminar for Chief Executive Officers.

GTPD also actively participates in campaigns like TAKE 25.  The Take 25 Campaign, which was created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), encourages parents and guardians to take 25 minutes on May 25, National Missing Children’s Day, to talk to their children about staying safe.

GTPD is offering finger print kits and Take 25 pamphlets. You can come into our police department located at 1261 Chews Landing Road Laurel Springs, NJ 08021 and get your free kit.
