Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of Rockridge Dr and locate an indoor marijuana grow

LOCATION: 1000 Block of Rockridge Drive, in the Community of Lake Arrowhead

SUMMARY: Over the past few weeks, deputies had received information pertaining to a residence on Rockridge Drive, in the Community of Lake Arrowhead, possibly being used for the unlawful cultivation of marijuana. On Saturday, May 25, 2019, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station served a search warrant at the location based on deputy observations obtained during the investigation.
During the search warrant, deputies found the house unoccupied but located an indoor marijuana grow operation with the entire home being utilized for marijuana cultivation. Throughout the residence, deputies located and identified equipment used to grow marijuana by means of controlling the indoor climate. This equipment included multiple air conditioning units, a sophisticated ventilation system, humidifier, heat generating lamps, irrigation and insulation throughout the house. During the operation, deputies located approximately 200 mature marijuana plants which were confiscated by members of the Sheriff’s Marijuana Eradication Team. No known suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
