Police Seek Public’s Assistance In High School Graduation Shooting
Ontario Police investigators are seeking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation of a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of West Caroline Court on Saturday, May 25th, 2019.
The victim of the shooting was identified as a 17-year-old recent Montclair High School graduate, who attended a graduation party along with his classmates and friends.
During the party, a shooting occurred where the suspect fired several rounds into the crowd. One of the rounds struck the 17-year-old victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injuries and is in critical condition.
It is still unclear if the suspect knew the victim or was a guest at the party. The investigation has yet to identify a motive for the shooting.
Any information as to who the suspect may be or a description that can be provided is imperative to the investigation.
