South Bay law enforcement agencies will combine forces to host a county-wide traffic enforcement initiative in Santa Clara on Wednesday, May 29.
Motorcycle officers from Campbell, Los Altos, Milpitas, Morgan Hill, Mountain View, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office will focus on traffic enforcement in school zones, yielding to pedestrians in crosswalks, areas with high accident and citizen complaint rates, red light and stop sign violations and distracted driving. This initiative takes place once a month and rotates from city to city throughout the county.
