The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership announces
June 2019 Driving Under the Influence Indiana
(Indianapolis, Ind.) --- Local law enforcement agencies, in cooperation with the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership, will conduct DUI checkpoints during June 2019. The project Driving Under the Influence Indiana is made possible through a grant received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and is a project aimed at reducing impaired driving-related motorcycle and automobile crashes.
DUI sobriety checkpoints will be conducted in Marion County on:
Saturday June 01 beginning at 6:00 pm
Friday June 07 beginning at 6:00 pm
Sunday June 09 beginning at 3:00 pm
Thursday June 20 beginning at 5:00 pm
Thursday June 27 beginning at 5:00 pm
The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership involves the cooperation of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport, and Indiana University police departments.
