The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Probationary Police Officer.

Police Officer applicants must:
• Possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be between 18 to 35 years of age, and be eligible for enrollment in the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System of New Jersey
• Have a good reputation and be of sound moral character
• Possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license and be a citizen of the United States
• Be able to pass physical, and physiological examinations and meet essential job performance requirements

Final candidates must undergo a complete background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.

All interested applicants must submit an application, current resume, and the appropriate certifications (if applicable) to Sergeant Brian Egan no later than June 15, 2019 at 12 noon.

Applications must be picked up in-person at Deal Police Headquarters, 190 Norwood Avenue, Deal, NJ 07723.
