National City Police: Missing 6 year old child was found safe and sound

National City Police Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Eta Street on a report of a missing 6 year old male child last seen about one hour earlier. Officers responded and began a search for the child. A law enforcement helicopter made several announcements in the surrounding neighborhoods to assist with the search.

With the assistance of the police officers and community members, the child was located safe and sound.

The National City Police Department would like to thank everyone for helping us in our search for the missing child. The child has been reunited with his family.
