FEMALE PASSENGER AIRLIFTED AFTER MOTORCYCLE CRASH

On June 3, 2019 at approximately 3:44 a.m., Pulaski County Communications received a report of a motorcycle crash, with injuries, in the area of County Road 1400 West and County Road 800 North, San Pierre, Pulaski County, Indiana.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Daniel Frazier, 36, San Pierre, and a passenger of the motorcycle was identified as Amber Frazier, 40, San Pierre. Daniel Frazier sustained minor injuries as a result of the motorcycle crash. Amber Frazier, the passenger of the motorcycle, was in critical condition at the scene and airlifted from the scene to South Bend Memorial Hospital for further medical treatment.

The investigation by Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Seth Barton determined Daniel Frazier was operating the motorcycle with an adult female passenger when Frazier attempted to avoid a collision with a deer causing Frazier to lose control of the motorcycle.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this motor vehicle crash and Daniel Frazier is a suspected of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. The motor vehicle crash is an ongoing investigation and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A motor vehicle crash reconstructionist from the Logansport Police Department assisted with the motor vehicle crash investigation.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Pulaski County EMS, Winamac Police Department, Medaryville Volunteer Fire Department, and Samaritan Medical Transport.
