OFFICER: K9 Officer F. Zicha #596 and K9 Hodge
DETAILS: K9 Officer Zicha (with his partner K9 Hodge) initiated a stop on a black Toyota convertible for an obstructed windshield, erratic driving, and failure to use a turn signal. During the stop, the operator Rashad Smith was found to be in possession of 26 bundles and several decks of Heroin (totalling 2.5 ounces), and under 50 grams of Marijuana.
LeVaughn Allen, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was found to have warrants for his arrest from Plainfield, Scotch Plains, Cranford, and South Brunswick. Both Smith and Allen were processed at WWPD Headquarters. After processing, Smith was transported to the Mercer County Correction Center. Allen was later turned over to the Plainfield police on their warrant.
