*UPDATE* Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department Make an Arrest related to Infant found deceased in Bellflower.
Alexander Echeverria, male Hispanic, 22 years old has surrenderd himself to police custody.
On Monday, June 3, 2019, Alexander Echeverria surrendered himself to police custody at the United States/Mexico border. The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department held a press conference to provide an investigative update and additional details regarding the case.

The deceased child is the daughter of 22 year-old Alexander Echeverria, an At Risk Missing Person from Northern California.
Echeverria was last seen alone on the night of Sunday, May 26, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Additional investigation has revealed that it appears the child died in Sacramento County.
LASD continues its active investigation and is assisting Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, which is now the lead investigating agency.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an infant found behind the location. The infant was discovered on Monday, May 27, 2019, at approximately 10:37 a.m., on the 10300 block of Alondra Boulevard, Bellflower.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
