...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN LOGAN...SOUTHWESTERN DE WITT AND NORTHWESTERN MACON
COUNTIES...
At 1214 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Chestnut, or 9
miles southeast of Lincoln, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Emergency management. At 1148 am CDT six power poles were
blown down 3 miles southwest of Hartsburg.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Maroa, Mount Pulaski, Warrensburg, Niantic, Latham, Kenney, Chestnut
and Rowell.
