Flash Flood Warning until 07:45PM

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Hancock County in central Indiana... Northwestern Rush County in central Indiana... Southwestern Henry County in east central Indiana...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 448 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area with 1 to 2 inches of rain falling quickly since 4 pm EDT. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Greenfield, Fortville, Knightstown, New Palestine, Carthage, Shirley, Kennard, Wilkinson, Spring Lake and Greensboro. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 97 and 121.

* AFFECTED AREAS: RUSH, IN ... HENRY, IN ... HANCOCK, IN

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely.
