On 06-06-19 at about 6:00pm, officers were dispatched to Walmart, 3800 Deerfield Drive for an armed subject complaint involving a firearm. The reporting person observed a male white suspect yelling at an unidentified female in the parking lot. The male white suspect then began yelling at another bystander who was attempting to intervene. The suspect displayed a firearm during the argument with the bystander.

Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the male white suspect and suspect vehicle the reporting person initially described. Officers learned the argument started over an unidentified female driving the incorrect direction in the Walmart parking lot.

Later during the investigation, an officer observed the suspect vehicle driving on Palmer Drive near East Racine Street with a second vehicle. During a search of the second vehicle, officers located the firearm which was displayed during the incident. The firearm was a .38 revolver which belonged to a family member of the male suspect.

The male suspect was later identified as Anthony Kreyer.
