The City of Folsom Fire Department is conducting a controlled burn today, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for wildfire prevention on City property behind Sibley Street, between Bidwell Street and Glenn Drive. All work is being conducted by 15 Folsom Fire Department personnel and fire engines are on site. Planned activities will include controlled debris burning if weather conditions allow. Performing controlled burning during favorable weather conditions allows the Fire Department to manage a fire.
