* At 222 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two to four inches of rain have fallen with locally higher amounts up to five inches. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Conyers, Winder, Monroe, Covington, Jefferson, Commerce, Watkinsville, Danielsville, Athens, Snellville, Lilburn, Loganville, Braselton, Auburn, Dacula, Social Circle, Grayson and Statham. Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches.. are possible in the warned area.
