Flash Flood Watch until 05:00PM Thursday
The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern Indiana, Adams, Blackford, Grant, Jay, and Wells. In northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Putnam, and Van Wert.
* From this afternoon through Thursday afternoon
* Heavy rainfall is possible from late this afternoon through Thursday morning. Saturated ground from recent rainfall coupled with any heavy rain that falls from slow moving thunderstorms could quickly runoff and create flooding. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches are possible.
* Rapid rises of streams, creeks and rivers are possible given saturated soils. Roads in poor drainage areas may become impassable with water flowing across them.
* AFFECTED AREAS: GRANT ... WELLS ... PUTNAM ... BLACKFORD ... VAN WERT ... ADAMS ... JAY ... ALLEN
